For the purposes of the project Re-discovering Cultural Treasures of Old Royal Montenegro in the area of the business development, organized by the Centre for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives, there was a three-day seminar in Bandići from 30. 07. till 01. 08. 2010. year, which is aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial skills in the terms of selection, testing and implementation of business ideas.
The seminar was attented by 20 representatives of individual households and small entrepreneurs from the four "nahija" districts of the Old Royal Montenegro, which are engaged in traditional agricultural production or have genuine environmental values. Within the seminar the following topics were covered:
The central question of the seminar was the marketing, within which the entrepreneurs could learn the most important elements and methodology of creating its marketing plan. CEFE methodology was used on the seminar, which involves the active participation of all participants, where they reached the best solution shared, through some workshops and simulations of the actual conditions on the market. In this way, through the exchange of experiences, the proposed solutions are being tested and the entrepreneurs apart the other skills, acquire skills of communication and negotiation necessary for their successful performance on the market.
Some games that run energy and creativity made this seminar particularly interesting, and can be used for learning the functioning of teams, and with created positive atmosphere and analysis, leads to specific conclusions that can be fully used in business management.
Entrepreneurs have evaluated this seminar as interesting and useful for them, because it offers specific skills and tools that besides strengthening of confidence, made them specifically affect on the improvement of their business.
