On Thursday, 28 March 2013, starting at 11 a.m. at the premises of the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro in Cetinje, a press conference was held marking the completion of the second training module of "Art, Plastics & Recycling". The event was organised by the Centre for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives, the NGO Culture Zone, the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje.
The press conference consisted of a presentation and an exhibition of the designed objects. Svetlana Vujičić (director of the NGO Centre for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives) and Igor Rakčević (director of the NGO Culture Zone) spoke about the concept of the project, while international consultant Gerhard Bär and Draško Dragaš, vice-dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje, spoke about the results achieved in the workshops.
Following the presentation, those present were able to see the exhibits and objects designed during the workshops by students of the faculties of fine arts from Montenegro and Albania. Among the creations were tables, chairs, vases, masks, props and baskets of various shapes and décor, symbolically conveying the message that the plastic packaging of everyday products can have practical value and does not have to become waste.
