At the final cluster group meetings, held at the end of February, members of both cluster groups (Croatian and Montenegrin) came together to discuss program plans and details regarding the DOT brochure. This was the first time members of both groups met each other, and provided a useful opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about each other's offerings and to link up for possible joint itineraries.
During this meeting the final programs/itineraries were approved. Attendees - tour operators, guides, members of outdoor clubs, and representatives of local NGO's etc. - were presented with an outline for the brochure. As they will be an integral part of the brochure and website development, participants were assigned tasks for contributing materials for this promotional material. In the upcoming weeks they will contribute text about their organizations and programs, as well as photos for the brochure and website.
The workshop provided a venue for individuals from various organizations in both Croatia and Montenegro to establish linkages for the resulting joint itinerary. The final offering (4 days in Croatia and 4 days in Montenegro) will be especially appealing for visitors, who can experience the best of this coastal region in both countries through the convenience of a single package/itinerary.
